New guy here. Recently purchased a used Campion Allante 705iBR. Im still getting accustomed to the various items on this boat, and since it is used, it looks like there were some items that have either been removed or added. I have not yet owned a boat with a cabin, and although this has a mid cabin, it is loaded with a variety of items such as a fridge, toilet, etc. I have been unable to determine what this mounting plate and wiring are for, and I am unable to chase the wires as this thing is built like a mack truck. Most areas are difficult to access, and I was hoping that in posting it here someone might be familiar with this connector and assist in identifying what this might've been for. All lighting in the cabin is hooked to toggle switches so I can comfortably rule that out. I do believe that at one point the boat had a windlass, so I am leaning towards this being a control for that. Any ideas from fellow members? Sorry for the poor picture, its all I have right now. One red and black wire with a small connector.
