Found another feature. If you want to post a link to a specific post in a topic/thread to another topic/thread, click the post number in blue and copy the resulting box contents, them paste into your post. For example, This thread about PMs, you can post a link for any page in the topic/thread as in http://forums.iboats.com/forum/othe...ssues/7639482-private-messaging-system-issues

But if you want to post link to a certain post, click the post number, copy and paste and you get:

http://forums.iboats.com/forum/othe...messaging-system-issues?p=7657463#post7657463

They look similar, but the result of the first link always takes you to the start of a page. The second takes you to the exact post so readers don't have to search. A little easier sharing info, I think. It could be useful for some of us.

BTW - I tried using the paper clip post link beside the Camera, but it's only good for one link, so I had to use Advanced Editor paper clip for two links.

Hey, I like the ease of copying a post w/ link, see below:

I also like that when you use the paperclip icon on the top left corner of a post window to add a link to another Topic & post, you can edit the preview thumbnail by clicking thru the left & right arrows, you can edit the title of your link (I added Topic: to my link below) and you can edit the bottom text of the added link (I redacted the iboats forum spiel)...............

Nice feature . . . despite the errors with the software, I like the fact that the collective membership is figuring things out.

That's actually been kinda' fun ... figuring it out together. I wonder if this is how Congress has been looking through legislation the last few years? :D

I hate to burst your bubble, but this feature was available in the previous iteration of the software.
