Xpress xp18 with 2014 90 Yamaha, less than 15 hours. First few trips to lake to follow break in procedure, no problems. Yesterday ran rpms up to 5500 for about 10 minutes, motor died like out of fuel. Pumped up bulb, cranked up and ran OK for another 10 minutes or so, died again, this happen several times over 2 hour period. Ran fine rest of the day at lower rpms. Have seen info on vapor lock, one guy said water in charcoal canister, where is this located and how do you check. Lake water temp around 95 deg F, anyone have any ideas? thanks in advance, Bryan.

When you say pumped up bulb was it flat? Is your gas tank properly vented? Sounds like a fuel delivery issue where there is not enough vented air to run at WOT, but it has enough for lower speeds.

Great questions, first time it died went straight to bulb, gave it two quick pumps...in panic mode, not sure but think it was OK. Will lake test ASAP, just wanted to put the word out if anyone aware of an issue. Thanks.

Only one thing to - Back to the dealer. Let them fix it! They can read the computer codes.
