I'm Looking to buy a < New E-Tec 200 Outbard > I see there are many price ranges for just this engine through-out the entire united states to buy just an engine, to put on my boat. of course I got to have a long shaft and I want it a 200 E-Tec and I want it new and cheap, so where do I go ???
I now live in northern Alabama, and the closest dealer with a decent price of 12,500.00 plus controls is in Nashville Tn. thats a hundred mile drive. If I drive three hundred miles to the south I get the controls for free but the price to drive the boat down there to hook it up eats up the price of the controls in gas !!! so does anyone have a better alternative??>?//???

at the price of gas, and overnite or 2 stay. taking off work, cause they ain't gonna work weekends. i'd get the closest to home. remember, to get good warranty service, it's best to go back to the dealer that sold it to you.

Thank you, for your input. we are currently looking into a purchase within a hundred miles of our home on an E-Tec 200 Evinrude with installation for less than 14500.00 w/controls.
