I am planning on actually catching something sometime...I would like to know what it is that I caught.

Also, I am looking for a quick reference (with pictures)with some basic information/warnings.. I would hate to catch something and get bit or stabbed/cut by an exceptionally sharp or poisonous spike.

Anybody have andy favorites?

-JustMrWill

No problem JMW. I learned a lot over the winter from others that were very willing to share and I enjoy being being able to help others.

Good luck out there. I may be able to sneak out for a Wed AM trip myself.

No worries. Lots of fish around and I am not that lucky.

Actually, I plan to experiment a little and try some new spots. I may explore around Prudence a little bit and try some tube and worm along the edges of the channel thinking that the cows are using that as a highway to get to them porgies in the PVD river.

BTW, a friend of mine has an arrangement with a south coast guide that allows the guide to use my friend's boat for charters. Last night they caught two cows by Block Island. One was 47 and the other was 51. Huge fish!!
