New Engine

I am considering replacing the current engine in my boat, (140hp inboard) with a outboard. The boat is a 77 Venture, 18ft. I'm trying to find out how big of an engine I need, (Just for fishing), and any other information anybody might be willing to share on the subject. Thanks

if the boat weighs no more than 3000 lbs with fuel anything between a 115 to a 150 is good I have a 3000 lb boat and I have a 120 Force but it needs a 150 minumal
