New Carb for Nissan 40C / Adj Question

Hello All,

I have a factory new carb for my 1989 NS40C two-stroke 40hp, and was wondering if all the settings are pre-adjusted or do I still need to do it?

Also, same for NGK sparkplugs. Do they come pre-gapped?

Dont know about the carb but every set of new ngk plugs I have bought have needed to be gapped. If I had to guess on the carb and this is a guess I would think that they are adjusted to a point where your engine will probably run on it but would still have to be fine tuned.

No, everything has to be adjusted and/or checked.
