As a kid my boating usually meant hard work ! Being a striker on a shrimp boat , snapper boat , crabbing commercially . Luckily that’s out of my system and now at 61 I get out at least once a month weather permitting. But usually it’s with a group of old farts and our old vintage motors stinking up the place . A really good time actually!
You don’t have to have a pile of money and a 100,000 dollar bass boat to enjoy the water ..
And the wife is content with the 5.5 hp 1960 Evinrude Fisherman on the el cheapo aluminum boat . But I am stepping up a bit with the 62 Chris Craft restoration. I think I’m having more fun boating now than I ever did growing up !

Very nice boat.----And just like many older products , very easy to rebuild / repair.----New stuff is designed / assembled by robots.----No thought to future repairs.
