New Boat not used since 2005

Back in 2005 I bought a brand new Suntracker 25' party barge that came with a new 2005 Mecury 115 ELPTO fourstroke engine.

I used the boat 3 times back in 2005 and have not used it since. (I have had the lower unit oil changed more times that I have used the boat itself).

Anyway, I am now in the process of getting it ready to get it back on the water.

After setting for 3 years, what precautions or maintenance should I take before I get it back on the water?

I assume I should drain the old gas which has been setting since 2005. Any hints on the best way to do this?

Are there any other maintenance procedures that I should be aware of?

There are a lot of issues with this one, not just fuel... It will need an engine oil change, the impeller needs to be looked at, the cam belt may also need to be checked. Take it to a dealer and tell him it hasn't been run for 3 years... He'll know what the best course of action is.
