The Blackfin Cavitation plate will be available this summer in two sizes. Wings on an airplane create lift and wings in the water create drag. Wing type fins only twist and flex so how can they constantly control the water. The Blackfin Cavitation plate is a rectangular plate which is installed straight off the back of the motor. The plate is a nylon polymer that will not twist or flex. Being installed off the back means that when you throttle up, the plate will not allow your bow to rise. The bottom of the plate has features that channel water through Two foils on the bottom so when on plane, the plate is almost out of the water. The two foils are still in the water helping in turns. You will be able to run much slower and still be on plane.
