New binoculars, or what?

I've got binoculars I've used for probably 30 years and I think I'm about ready to upgrade! They're 20x50. I'm blind in one eye so buying new nocs may not make the most sense, what would I buy instead... telescope? Monocular? Spotting scope? Something else? Primary use is on the water for everything from people watching to boats on the horizon. Looking to spend a hundred or so.

Thanks!

Well, if the pair you have works for ya then why change. you don't have to worry about dropping them either, if you can only use one lens then you don't have to worry about the prisms getting misaligned.

But if you insist on change I would go with a brass spyglass, eye patch, and a Tricorn hat.:D
