Put the foot of the motor in a 5 or 10 gallon bucket, drum or container of fresh water, start the motor and run it for a few minutes to flush the saltwater out, wash the rest of your motor with garden hose and let it dry in the sun. Spray motor outside and under cowling with a protective lubricant spray like WD-40 or similar to reduce corrosion. Take good care of it and it should run for many years. Good Luck!
