I had a 2003 90hp tldi on my old boat. I bought in new and owned it for 9 seasons. Great motor which gave me no trouble. So I bought a new one last Sept for my new boat, and the new motor seems louder than the old one. Is it just me or did they change things to keep up with emission standards? The hood is also much larger on the new motor than the old one.
