A guy in town has a Mercruiser (from factory) 7.4 short block still in the crate, looks legit? Wants $1500 What do you think?

See if you can get him down a bit and go for it if you need it. Remember, it still needs heads, intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, carb, ignition, etc....etc....etc....
