New 60hp Merc's any good ?

I am in the process of buying a new boat, and have heard many good things about the 4stk 100+ hp Merc’s with EFI. But I’m interested in how the 60hp versions are treating their owners.<br /><br />Thanks in advance for your responses

I bought a carbed 50 hp 4s Mariner (Merc/Yamaha) new in 1996. It performs as advertised and had no breakdowns. Is it less hassle, less maintenance, less bla bla bla than a 2 stroke? Not really. I could have bought a 75hp 2 stroke for the same bucks.
