Hi folks, it's been a while since I've been around. My 1960's 3HP motors have been working well for me. I have picked up a motor, which looks like a 1947-1951 3.3HP according to my research (if it's correct). Serial number is 4423-48093. I haven't done anything but hang it on the stand for now but it does turn over and has some compression. It has no bottom cowl but looks like it has holes to mount one. The prop spins free and I am hoping it's a sheer pin but I will see. Is there anything I should know about this motor before I begin trying to get it together as a usable motor?

Thanks,
Mark

You are in for a big disappointment when you compare that motor to your 3hp ones.
