Re: Neutral safty switch
Chances are the switch is a typical microswitch with three terminals, COMmon, NO (normally open) and NC (normanlly closed). One wire should go to the COM terminal. You probably have the NO and NC terminals backwards. When in neutral, the starter circuit is completed throught the safety switch allowing the motor to start. When in-gear, the safety switch interupts the starter circuit preventing the motor from starting.
