Well I think this is all gonna work out . . . First "Boo", if anything, was getting worse. Here he is in a familiar pose:

We helped the breeder find him a new home with an elderly couple. Slow moving, nice and quiet, seems like a good match.

Also, if you recall he had 21 ticks on him and the breeder called afterwords and said that she had been contacted by the Humane Society and had to get rid of all of her puppies and most of her 31 cats  Anyway, she and I had been communicating over the last week a little because I let her hold my money while we figured out what we were going to do (my little way of keeping Mrs. QC semi-hooked on a Beagle). She said that since she had to get rid of the pups and even if we had been the ones to report her (we weren't) that she'd give us pick of the litter that she had (Boo's younger siblings). Anyway, we came home with a surprise for the boys and Bear yesterday.

Bear is still deciding if this is a good thing.

We're gonna probably name her Missy as they all turned me down from "Striped Arse Ape" :D

We have made it through the first night reasonably well and everybody is in love with her and we think she's pretty happy too. Bear is happier than he was with Boo, and I think Boo is a lot happier where he is now too . . .

Cute puppy.
If bear takes up with the pup, that will be a good thing.
Someone to always protect her.

I'm done with dogs - tired of the mess and the hassles. Kids are more than enough. But then I see that little beagle of yours and I start thinking 3 or 4 of them would be a lot of fun wouldn't they? A family down the street has 3 of them and they make me laugh like a little kid at the very sight of them running across the yard together.

Looks like fun - enjoy.

Always liked the lil' beagles QC. Hope it works out.

We had one a few yrs back. "Dudly Puddles". Born in the dead of winter in a cold snap. Half the litter was smothered by the mom. We think poor ole' Dudly suffered some oxygen starvation cause he was a few slices short of a full loaf.

There's a black Lab across the steet like that. Didn't know there was such a thing, maybe that's what happened to her. Dumb as a stump, and she drools everywhere. And what did they do? Bred her . . .

Terry,

One of the breeders we went to had at least 20 Adult Beagles in the house, not to mention the pups. It really was a sight although you'd have to be a slice or two shy your ownself to get into something like that . . .

Glad everything worked out, especially the fact that Boo has a place to go. Looks like Striped Arse is curious like he should be.
