Re: Needle bearing question

Oh boy, it sounds like you have some seriouse issues. If you have one needle bearning drop out during decarb, then it's time to tear it down and do a full rebuild. During my years as an outboard mechanic, I've seen some pretty wild damage caused by needle bearings dancin' around in crank cases and going through the intake ports. The pistons and cylinders get hashed up pretty good, by the time the needles go into the combustion chamber. If you see no apparent damage now, you're very lucky and can likely do a complete rebuild, without too much expense.....but we don't know until you pick it apart and see.

Re: Needle bearing question

i lost one needel(this center one, and its absolut, not posible to get in my country) during taking apart powerhead,
one needle is 2mm diameter.
i can make one extra, cating from borr tool, grinding for apropirate lenght.
this rod(down at the piston)bearing contain 29 needle
but the center one should contain 29 or 30 needle
