I am looking to step into the charter boat world as both a broker and a charter crew. I want to know your perspective on the industry; the pros and cons...tell me the ugly truth. What resources/services do you use to keep track of clients and expenses? If you could change something about the industry, what is it? What do you love the most about the charter/broker world?

This may not be the right forum for getting advice about the charter business. We are mainly recreational boaters and DIY'ers.

All I can say is get a job in the business to learn some of the ins and outs.
