need years of johnson

was talking to a buddy without access to a computer who would like to know the years of two outboard johnson motors. first is model ar73b the other is cd-22m.<br /><br />thanx<br />skeezx

CD-22 is a 1965 6hp<br />2R73 is a 1973 2hp. check to see if that "A" in the model number is actually a 2.<br />good luck
