I have a 85 wellcraft 5.7 that the alternator is a 817119-2 and it has never been wired up correctly. Here is a link of the back of it http://mascostartersandalternators.com/Sunshop/index.php?l=product_images&p=2&i=5
I have a red wire that runs down in the bilge that runs over to a a isolater since I have two bats. I also have a red, black, orange, and purple that are all coming over in the factory wires. I want to try to put my back seat and everything back together once I get this figured. When I looked at the wiring diagram I did not see a alternator like mine and don't have the red from the isoloter (I think that is what it is called) that wire does not look factory. Thanks in advance.
