can any body put me on to where i can find out where i can look at a mounting bracket for the shifting cables on my 79 sea ray sr24 ,i bought a boat with out a motor had one built but alas no mounting brackets ,went to two dealers and they "said"couldnt help, its a merc drive, v8 gm engine ,need to see carb linkage also, been on net many times but must be in wrong place .found one on junk boat, merc setup but not sure if i can make it work. thanks bob
