I've bought a seal kit from 5-Star (eBay) that's allegedly correct for this single-ram trim unit but in reading comments & reviews I see a few complaints of wrong-size O-rings in the kit.

Had anyone here done this job? Should I be concerned?
There's def the possibility that the complainers were mistaken. None of the o-rings are marked or bagged individually and there are quite a lot included in the package.

My hunch is the problem with my unit may be in the check valves and not the seals. My unit does not leak any oil externally, does lift the motor--slowly and jerkily sometimes, and lowers it correctly.

Finally got my service manual back so I jumped into this overhaul.
Went well, although there are definitely issues with the seal kit.
It works.
