Need to pull bravo 3 with lock problem

I need to pull a bravo 3 saturday and check everything out and grease everrything up I have only pulled alpha ones on my boat but when I looked last night it has a lock on one bolt. My buddy that owns the boat looked through everything he got with the boat when he bought it and no key for it. How to get this off with out the key.

Don, are you saying that the keys are universal?

I had one of those locks on my drive till i lost the key. Took 5 min with a hammer and chisel and it was off

Yea I was thinking I will have to take a chisel and a hammer to it to make it come loose and replace with a regular lock nut.

hit the chisel striaght thru the outer collar till u hit the nut part then start hitting it counter clockwise and she'll come right off

Use a punch and hit the lock in one of the grooves that th key would fit in. Couple whacks will get it loose.

I`d suggest a dremel with a disc ,1 cut ,rotate collar, 2nd cut, split outer collar, remove inner lock.

I should have the all the parts I need tomorrow so I will work on getting the nut off tomorrow I will probably try all the suggestions.

Well thanks for all the help I ended up just scoring it with a die grinder then a chisel and split it into two pieces. Then a pair of vise grips and it came right off.
