I want to get a service manual for a 2003 johnson 150hp. Are there any places that I could download it for free. If not where could I buy it?

Also just want to make sure this is a 2003. I always get confused. I'm pretty sure it's 2003.

It's an 02 The year is in the model # j150px SN f
It's the SN in the #

Wow Now that I think when we baught the boat it was a left over that we baught in 2003. Is 2003 the same as 2002? I think it is.

Also has anybody figured out why these motors don't like to get up and go when left to sit?

My 150 does the same thing that is described in this thread.

What plugs are you running? Stick to the QL78YC or the cooler QL77JC4 and you should be ok. What about fuel, regular 87 octane?

When spring comes i'm doing plugs,lu oil,water pump,tstats,timing,carb cleaning. I'm going to get this thing running right. The dealers around here suck they don't even try all they are are parts changers.
