have johnson friend gave last year model #j4r0henm cant cross ref other models # off the charts anyone knows let me know thanks. its a 4.0

Not sure here, but I think that is a J4RD-rope-start, deluxe...."H" ..I don't have any info for that, and the "EN" is 1992, with "M" being production run...

rope start deluxe would mean electric start then? and the h kept throwing me off, glad to know not just me then!

I suppose electric start could possibly be added, but according to the mod.#, It was intended to be a rope start from the factory..??

after further looking under the cover i saw how it was modified, looks well done. been a good motor this last fall and i just wanted to make sure i was looking at the right specs.gas mixture and plus i havent even changed plugs yet so, thanx
