Have a pair of O'brien skis where the surface gelcoat has peeled offf in a couple of places. Can I just add some epoxy to seal this or do I even need to?
thanks.

By gelcoat I am assuming it is more of a de-lamination of the layer on the top surface of the ski.

? If simply cosmetic, your call.
? If it seems like it has allowed water into the inside of the ski I would make sure the ski is drained and dry and then fix (especially if skis are stored off-season where exposed to a hard freeze).

You are correct...not worried about cosmetics but don't want damage to occur by not sealing it. Is epoxy the right product to seal this?
thx

I've used epoxy or JB Weld for most of my ski repairs. clamp as needed.
