Need suggestions on a 2003 Honda 130

I am very interested in buying a boat that has a 2003 Honda 130hp. After doing some research it seems theses engines had problems with cracked blocks that Honda acknowledged and fixed if detected by the owners. The warranty was also extended to 10years. This is the second owner of the boat and has only had it since 2015. When I questioned him about it he stated that he did not have any knowledge about it and does not know if the original owner made the fix/update through Honda. A check of the serial number in fact shows that this model falls into the range of the problem engines. The owner stated that after all this time there probably would have been problems he would have noticed. I had planned to have a diagnostic done on the motor but I don’t think that would detect a crack in the block. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I go from here.
