My wife is wanting to go some where as we haven't done a honey moon. We were thinking Cape Cod, though we shot that down. We are not a big fan of the crowded areas, we like relaxing and outdoor hiking and nature. I have a few days off, 4 which is including weekend. I have enough airline miles to get us anywhere in the country. Though I am thinking maybe somewhere like NH, PA, or Maine might be nice. We aren't a big fan of large cities or touristy things.

Thanks in advance,

PA Wilds; Poconos, Sinnemahoning area of PA (most beautiful part of PA, I think).

hiking in smokey mountains can't be beat. Sunrise while up there is amazing.

National rifle matches, put out bay, and cedar point would be a trifecta

Seneca Lake Wine Trail! Just a hop, skip, and a jump from Rochester. There are also breweries and a distillery or two in the area. There are also good hiking areas, such as Watkins Glen State Park.

If you can fly anywhere, I would fly into LA, rent a car, and drive the Pacific Coast Highway up to San Francisco and a bit north of there.

It's the most beautiful ride in the country, best nature around (redwoods!), plenty of reasonable motels/hotels along the way, wine country north of San Fran, and it's the perfect 4-day trip, including your air travel.

It's also romantic, but as a man, I didn't want to bring that up.

First night I would rent a cabin in FELTON near the redwoods, a few miles east of Santa Cruz and the Pacific Coast Highway.

Area's in Maine up along the route 1/ route 9 seacoast are beautiful (have a Cape Cod feel), but aren't as quite as congested as going to the Cape.

There's always my lake (Sebago) which usually isn't too bad as far as tourists. Has various places around the lake in the surrounding towns to rent a cottage, boat, etc. Portland is about 30 minutes to the right of the lake if you have wanted a day where you could go to a relatively small calm old school (cobble stone and brick buildings) city, and hit up a couple of pubs. North Conway NH, and Mt. Washington are about 40 minutes to the left of the lake. Back country roads all around to "get lost" on if you like driving with some nice scenery. Can look here for other ideas too; Regions - Maine Office of Tourism.

NH has the White Mountains for camping, and hiking.

Book a room at the RiverEdge in Alexandria Bay NY overlooking Boldt Castle. Watch the fireworks from your room or drag your boat up and watch them from the water. Plenty of NYS Parks that you can hike through after that.

And probably a 3 hr trip at most.

Could visit Singer Castle then via Uncle Sams Boat Tours. Plenty of wineries up there too...

I think we are going to go to Toronto and Canada, any suggestions for that area on things to do? Don't think the wife would be to keen on taking the boat. :(

I hear they have an ikea!

Go see a show at the Ed Marvish Theatre (dunno' what's playing right now, but that's the Pantages Theatre they used to run Phantom of the Opera at).
