I've got a manual coming

It's a 2000

model# J6R5IB

Serial# GO4880267

The man I bought this motor from said he ran it at 50:1. A mechanic I talked to said it was made for 100:1. That sounds way too lean to me and I'm probably not going to do it, but I thought I'd get your opinions.

I could also use the spark plug type and gap if anybody has it until I can get my manual. Thanks for the help!

Use 50:1, NMplayer.

OMC recommended 100:1 for a while back in the late 80s but went back to 50:1.

Were there problems? I don't know, but you have to wonder.

Good luck. :)
