need some help please

I just got my first boat it is a 1973 15ft hustler or so that is what it is marked with on the side it has an open bow and an 85 hps evinrude ourt board i am in desperate need of the maker and any info any one can give me on it i jsut got it running great and would like to know more about the company that use to make them or if any one who one also thanks

Somewhere on the boat, maybe either by the steering wheel, or often on the stern by where the motor is mounted, you should find a little plate that has a bunch of the boat information on it (weight capacities, motor limits, etc). On there you should have the manufacturer and model.<br /><br />Though one of these much more experienced guys may have just heard of it before....
