Im interested in buying the lower unit of a late 50s johnson seahorse 35hp. would this lower unit bolt on to my early 60s 35hp johnson?? im buying it on ebay and wanted to ask here first. thank you.
The 35hp was made 1957-59. 1960-up was 40hp.
1957 35hp had one water tube
1959 35hp (and 1960-up 40hp) had two water tubes
1958 35hp was made both ways
They are NOT interchangeable.
