Check out the max load rating on the sidewall, and match some other tire and wheel to meet or exceed that. Standard would be either 8 inch or 12 inch rims.
4.80x8 load range C go to 760 lbs/tire, 5.70x8 -C got 910 lbs/tire. 4.80x12-C are 990 lbs, and 5.30 - C are 1050 or so.

Be sure you get the right hole pattern on the rim.

hope it helps

Re: need new tires

:eek: You need to get yourself a proper set of tires made just for trailer's. Please don't make a mistake of using car tires on a trailer they aren't strong enough where its needed. Talk to a tire pro and they'll tell you the same thing at least a good one will!!!;);) They are not any more expensive than regular auto tires. Some good brand's are;;Maxiss,Duro,Carlisle and Goodyear Marathon in order of quality. GOOD LUCK :):) LDJ

Re: need new tires

I learned how difficult some trailer tires and 6 lug rims are to locate after I bought my boat and needed to equip the trailer with a spare. Literally hours on the phone and one shop in Minnesota had a supplier that could get their hands on what I needed albeit mismatched from the OEM on the trailer. Every tire specialty shop scratched their heads on why a 14 inch tire would be so heavy duty and the six lugs was always a show stopper. If and when you do locate what you need, buy an extra.
