Hi,<br /><br />I've got an '86 Mercruiser 170 that I was told had a bad rod bearing. I pulled the bottom end apart and the rod bearings all look good and the crank journals all miked round and the same diameter (2.523). I'm going to order new bearings, but none of the local repair shops can tell me if the journals are worn enough to need to be turned. They can all get me bearings, though (go figure). Also, they can't get me torque settings.<br /><br />Can someone help me out with these specs? Also, if the torque settings for the crank mains are available I'd like them.
