I have had my Nissan 50 B tldi for about 9 months now and it seems like a great motor. It is on its second skiff hull, the first was wooden. it didn't last 3 trips before i had a titanic remake on my hands. I was able to save the motor befor ethe boat turned into a reef. now i have it on a 2008 15 flats skiff and it runs about 38 mph with a 13 pitch prop. im pretty impressed with fuel/ oil consumpition and power to weight.
On too my questuion, while i was changing my impellar last weekend i noticed that the ECU/BRAIN/Computer on the front of the engine was not secured. So i got to looking and the piece behind it which looks like some kind of intake plentum was missing all 10 bolts. I had been wondering why the engine was so noisy and had a rattle when it was cold. after running around town for a couple of hours loooking for ss metric bolts i found some and got it back together. what a difference 10 bolts make. Any ways, i am not really comfortable trusting the previous owners maintenece so i need a manual. i have looked on tohatsu's site, ebay , froogle, google, iboats with no luck. can anyone help me. it is a 2004 nissan tldi 50B. i dont have a dealer wihtin an hour drive of me and wiht gas the way it is i would rather just order one. Thanks in Advance Vinny
