need little help

Got a free 1970 Mercury 4hp outboard (model 1040100) with purchase of boat. All wiring was rusted thru, so just for the heck of it I replaced with new wires and connectors. Just need to know where they hook up. Only 4 wires so shouldn't be hard. (only one I couldn't figure out was orange one from stator, green go's to coil). All diagrams I found only show one wire from stator. Motor is clean, show's good compressing and impeller is working good. Any help would be appreciated. 56 years old and never had any dealings with outboards.
