Hiya folks!

My son and his buddy wanna take my 14 ft. Klamath out steelhead fishing next week. They'll be towing it with a 1991 Ford Ranger pick up which doesn't have a trailer light pigtail. I can't seem to locate the proper inline adapter to connect a standard 4 wire flat plug to the OEM tail light/turnsignal harness at the rear bumper. Does anyone know if one is actually available for this year/make? If so...how about some ideas where to get one in Portland, Or. Shouldn't a Ford dealer carry these? I haven't tried them yet....

As always...your advice is very much appreciated.

Walt

Walt, check your local Wal-Mart or Academy. Almost any reputable trailer place like Huffy Trailer or South West Wheel, even Tractor Supply.

Might even try U-haul!

Heck, I have a spare plug that I could wire for you in about 15 min. if you want to drive it to South Texas.

Good luck,
Ranger

Hey Ranger...thanks for the speedy reply. I could wire in a pigtail myself...but thought it would be more sanitary to simply plug in the adapter.

I'll give that web site a try. Thanks again!

Walt
