Re: need info on old boat

First off, Welcome to iboats. There are a plenty of posts on rebuilding the floor if it needs to be done. Actually if you post often they will tell you step by step how to proceed. Do a search on rebuilding floors, transoms, whatever and it is probably there. When you run into a particular problem then post again and someone will help you out.

boat Restoration and building page here would probably be better to post on. Everyone there is doing or has done that already many times.

I see a gazillion Fiberform boats in my area. They seem to be decent boats, not fancy or anything. I don't have a lot of specific info on them other than they made a decent boat.

Re: need info on old boat

Hi all;
I'm redoing a '74 Fiberform cabin cruiser, am searching for any literature or info on these oldies.
Chatted with Bayliner (bought out Fiberform in mid 80s), they can offer nothing. I figure they did the "increase market share by buying out and discontinuing competition" thing.
These boats are solid built w/good looks; as far as manuals and stuff, forget it.

If I were web-savvy I'd set up a site - I think there are quite a few of us Fiberform owners who'd benefit from one.

But if anyone's interested in sharing info or whatever about Fiberforms, please contact me.

Nick
