Need Info for 1986 VS-200DC Bass Boat

Hey all, I just picked up a 1986 Hydra-Sport VS-200 dual consule bass boat and am looking for some information. I can't find the hull plate anywhere on it, any help in finding this? Does anyone have all of the specs for this boat or know of a place that I can look upthe specs? Specifically, looking for max hp, capacity, weight, and how to accurately measure transom height on this boat. It has kind of a step transom and I measure about 22 inches. Does this sound correct? The engine that was on it was blown so I got the boat without an outboard. Any one know how small I can go for an outboard, yet still be able to get out of my own way? I know it used to have a 175 hp merc on it.
