Need Impeller Housing 50 HP Force

Hello everybody,<br />Let me start by sayng this forum is fantastic, was a wealth of information.<br /><br />I am a very good at auto mechanics but I am delving ito the 2 stroke realm to help my father with his 50 H.P. Force which needs some attention.<br /><br />I am going to rebuild the carb and replace the fuel pump diaphram and the thermostat.<br /><br />His impeller housing is quite pitted from 19 years of salt water use. And I cant seem to find a source for a housing / impeller kit. It is a model 507Y8D serial # 1229.<br /><br />Thanks for your help,<br />Erik

Mercury part number- FK1073 $65<br />Available on line at <br />mercurypartsexpress.com<br />mercreuiserparts.com<br /><br />or at your local Mercury dealer.<br /><br />The hardest part was probably getting the lower unit off.<br /><br />Smooth sailing from here.
