Hello I'm very new to this! I have been reviewing alot of post and other web sites. I can not come up with the same answer twice. I'm in need of a complete adjustment procedure for my jack plate. I have a 1997 sprint 286 dc pro 18ft bass boat. I have a 1992 150hp Johnson faststrike motor with a 24 pitch raker and a pro-HiJacker by T-H Marine 6" jackplate. I'm currently getting around 62-?? mph. I run at wot and start triming my motor. My speed, rpm, water pressure keep going up with no end. I can pull over 6200 rpm and my speed and water pressure still going up. I know my red line is around 5800, doing 6200 was a accident!! I have moved my jackplate up close to 3/4 adjustment. I want to make sure I'm adjusting everything right before I go any further. I have only ran 3 times. Thanks for your time and Help.
