need help with trailer wheel seal

i cant seem to find a cross over # for the wheel seal on my trailer can any 1 help me the # is TMC 171255

have you tried taking it to your local bearing shop? they should be able to match it from its mesurments.

A good NAPA store should be able to help. Most times they can measure the old seal up and get a replacement.

napa was no help i had to send it to tampa brake a vender we deal with they hooked me up they said the seal was discontinued in 1977 haha

Came across the same seal on an old 1987 Cox trailer. I seem to recall that I replaced it with a #17255 by accident. The 17255 is very popular and available at Champion Trailers for $2.20. Don't know the difference between the 171255 and 17255 and don't care: it keeps the grease in and water out. I trailer about 800 miles and launch about 50 times per season.
