i have a johnson year 2000 60 hp outboard motor , this boat was running when it was taken out of the water. but had sat for two years , do to death in family , so i have the boat now , also the motor is a rebuilb about 3 to 4 years ago
i put all new gas an oil in the boat an tried to start an no go,
i had repalced the spark plugs , an have good spark , so i checked the fuel fiter ,when i pull the line off at the top an pumped the bulb , a lot of dirty gas or water came out , lookeded like dirty muddy water , i cleared all that an tried to start again an no go still , i pulled the plugs an they are dry afer a couple mins of trying , so i take i'm not getting fuel,,
what should i be looking at next , is it carbs? or is it fuel pump ? not sure where to go withthis next as i'm new to boating ,, any help you can give me would be great . thankyou for your time an is fuel pump an carbs hard to do .. need help
