need help with my jet boat!

hi i have a regal rush xp 1995 jetboat and we took it out on sunday but the speed sensor fell off and water was leaking into the boat but the blige pump took care of that so my uncle turned the engine on and went for a ride but when he came back to dock the boat the boat didnt start again and after testing everything at home there are no sparks int he sparkplugs we replaced allthe plugs but nothing what could be wrong? or what part could of broken?
any help is appreciated :) thanks for your time

Please post up the engine serial number and if you have a CDM or CDI ignition system. Also post the HP of the motor. Do you have an OHM meter to perform some tests ? Please check your stator wires and see if they are blue and red or green/white and white/green.

hi the engine number is OE 114853 i checked the resistance from the starter from the blue and red wire and the blue/white red/white and there was no reading. i think its the cdm ignition but im not sure how to check

I looked and you should have a CDI system with a switchbox. Start with these 4 steps

1. disconnect black/yellow wire at switchbox and see if you have spark.
2. disconnect yellow wires going to the regulator , recheck spark.
3. Ohm Stator as follows , Red to ground , Blue to ground , post readings
4. Ohm trigger , Use white/black for one lead and check the other 3 wires separately. (purple , white and brown )

Also be aware that you should never run this boat out of the water unless you have the dealer type flush kit hooked up , You can and will blow the ride plate off !!

PS a CDI system runs a switchbox mounted on the same engine bracket as the coils. stator and trigger wires will run to this box
CDM will not have a switchbox , Trigger and stator wires will run to connectors then straight to the cdm's
