Need help with finding NLA part

Ok so I have a 83 model 25 hp 2 cyl mercury. I need a new float for carb
Part number 1399-8319. The part is one of those nla deals and they dot make it anymore. Any info to help me find this would be much obliged.

The part number you gave comes up as a jet, not a float. Post your engine serial number and i'll look up the correct parts and see what I can find. I have access to the mercury dealer network, and if there is one available, i'll find it.
Also, do you need a whole carb repair kit? Or just a float? Or a float with a needle and seat?

I found your serial number from an earlier post. They used 3 different carbs on this engine, and I need to know what your carb is stamped. It will say BC1A, BC1B, OR BC1C on it. Which one do you have??

I saw it last night when I wa looking at it I've already left for work this morning but I'm 98% sure that is what I read on top I. Carburetor

Did you need the actual float? Does your have a hole in it, or fuel-logged? I ask because the float is $$$$$

The plate that is connected to my float broke the tab off tht covers the jet

The gasket kits and needle valves are available. But sorry to tell you the floats, and the actual carb, are not available anyplace. None in the dealer network, none on seaway (company that buys up old parts) and none on ebay. Your only hope here is to find a blown donor motor locally, or hope something pops up on ebay.

^1 on the old mercs site. I have bought kits and parts for lots of older mercs from them, when every where else list them as NLA.
