need help whit control box

hi , im new in this forum , and my english language its not very good , im sorry for that.

So i have problem whit control box wiring, i have 2000 years Mariner engine 60hp 3 cylinder, two stroke, ( ELPTO) whit 8 pin wiring harness connection on engine , now i purchase mercury control box , but whit 14 pins harness wiring , but wiring connection are cut off, on my engine also, so i have 8 wiring on my engine and 14 wiring on my control box

Please help me how to connect correctly control box to the engine

Well, the engine wire colors are red for +12VDC, Purple for Ign Accessory; Black for ground; black/yellow for ign killer; yellow/black for choke; grey for tach signal; Additional colors are blue for trim up and green for trim down, and tan for overheat. That motor may have a trim gauge. Not sure what the rest are for.
