Hi Wayne<br />Elgin was a Sears brand name like Ted Williums or Game fisher. Near as I can tell that motor was made by West Bend. These motors were sold under many differnt names. This one could very well have been branded elgin. Look for a tag on the motor find the model #, if it starts with 571 then elgin was the brand.
