Need help w boat shopping

looking for an 18-19 ft CC, new or nearly new. Will be backwater fishing 75%, cruising w friends and grandkids 30%
liked the scout and & Key West. Don't want to go for a Grady or whaler. anyone have experience with Scout or key West? other suggestions?

Both Scout and Key West are PRIMO!!! Both have very good reps. Both Grady and Whaler are trying for the top spot but Scout and Kew West are neck and neck as well. I live in SC. Myrtle Beach is 1.5 hours away and Charleston is 2-2.5 Both brands are well represented. Where do you live? One thing to check is Craigslist. I'm constantly amazed at the boats listed and the prices. www.boattrader.com is another good source to look at. Keep tyring, yours is out there!
