need help selecting boat for 6hp

what kind of boats can my yamaha 6hp power ?<br />and how will it perform with lets say 2 people ?<br />and how eay is it to convert to a 8hp which uses the same block, thanks

I would say a 12 - 14' skiff would be about the biggest you could get any kind of speed with. At this, it probably won't plane the boat with two people aboard. Just my 2 cents. I'd use it only in protected water and I don't believe I'd get too far out into Tampa Bay with it.

thanks i'm just debating whether or not to get rid of my 6hp...if i keep i'll want to put on a boat
